Nimbus Sextet

Nimbus Sextet, one of the most innovative groups in the new wave of UK jazz, is celebrating their critically acclaimed second album, Forward Thinker, released on Acid Jazz Records. Jazzwise Magazine called the release 'a very accomplished record'. Performing in the UK and Europe’s top jazz venues, the band have firmly established themselves as an increasingly major voice in the vibrant European jazz scene. The Nimbus sound comes courtesy of bandleader and primary composer Joe Nichols (keys/harmonica), Alex Palmer (drums), Euan Allardice (trumpet), Michael Butcher (Saxophone), Honza Kourimsky (guitar) and Stephen Jack (bass).
