Mairearad Green and Mike Vass

Mike Vass and Mairearad Green have been friends for a long time, and have played music together in various combinations over the years. In 2014, they decided to meet one day a month to write and play music together. Although, given their busy schedules they didn’t always make every month, this was the start of A Day A Month collaborations. Now they have an album of traditional melodies together and are currently working on a pipes and electronics album to be released next year.
