Shooglenifty
Very happy to host local heroes Shooglenifty’s return to the Fringe. Expect a riotous explosion of contemporary trad roughed up with a patina that is all their own. A band that has been evolving since the day they first sat round a table at an Edinburgh session in the early 1990s, we can reveal that the Shoogles will be unveiling a brand-new mandolin player, the rather uber-talented Ciaran Ryan (Dallahan) who’s pretty hot on the banjo too. Joining the ball of souped-up energy that is fiddler Eilidh Shaw up front, we expect sparks to fly in your general direction.
