Mr McFall’s Chamber

Formed to create new audiences, new music and new directions in music, the group has a policy of mixing widely different styles in the same programme – anything from progressive rock, tango, cartoon classics, folk, jazz, early music to contemporary classical – to introduce audiences to music they otherwise might not encounter. The core group comprises Robert McFall (violin), Brian Schiele (viola), Su-a Lee (cello) and Rick Standley (double bass). Always eclectic, this gig will feature Polish and Finnish Tango to Elizabethan lutenist John Dowland, Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla and American swing band leader Raymond Scott.
