Chief sportswriter for BBC Radio Scotland, whose previous award-winning years in print were spent at the Sunday Times, Scotland on Sunday and The Scotsman. Tom’s sheer range in sports journalism – football, rugby, boxing, athletics and more – has allowed him to cast his eye over an entire world of sport. In Scotland he also been dragged into various controversies, usually involving Rangers or Celtic, and has famously said of social media: 'You can’t win on Twitter'.
