Cadenza at the Fringe 2023

Under new director Timothy Coleman Cadenza performs music of three women composers: a new commission for choir by Janet Wheeler dedicated to our former Director Jenny Sumerling, Thea Musgrave's theatrical The Voices of Our Ancestors for soloists, choir, brass quintet and organ, in settings of 12 poems examining the question of human existence, and settings of Vespers by early Baroque composer Chiara Margarita Cozzolani, performed by choir, brass, strings and continuo.
