Gecko 3 play a dance-friendly mix of funk, latin, hip hop, jazz and reggae. The trio lay down the grooves with double bass, guitar, drums and a little vocal dexterity – their sets ranging from banging floor-fillers to laid-back acoustic poetry. Gecko 3 have supported Nizlopi, the Quantic Soul Orchestra, Five Corners Quintet, Roy Ayers and Cibelle and have gigged as KT Tunstall’s backing band.
