Lilies on the Land

United in their determination to support their country during World War Two, four young women join the Land Army. Working long hours and bereft of basic home comforts, they find hardship, camaraderie and romance. Based on 150 letters and interviews with original Land Girls, along with songs from the period, this is a funny, heart-warming and poignant tribute to their resilience and hard work.
