Sacred Arts Festival Poetry at Greyfriars Kirk

Spirituality, Faith and Belief: Voyages of Discovery. Set in the historic context of Edinburgh's famous Greyfriars Kirk, and organized in conjunction with the Scottish Network for Religion and Literature and the Scottish Poetry Library, this event presents a unique opportunity to explore the role of literary works as avenues of spiritual discovery and personal pilgrimage. Playwright Jo Clifford and poets Rob Mackenzie and Meda Singh will read from their writings, and participate with others in a panel discussion about traditions and inspirations behind their work.
