In Conversation with… Anas Sarwar
Leader of the Scottish Labour Party. Elected MP for Glasgow in 2010. Member of the Scottish Parliament since 2016. Born 1983, a graduate of the University of Glasgow and a former dentist. Fierce campaigner for the NHS and tackling racism and intolerance. Involved in numerous charity projects at home and abroad – founded Glasgow Cares, voluntary President of Sarwar Foundation, supported Syrian refugees, runs an annual Christmas toy bank, supporter of Glasgow homeless projects. A proud member of the GMB union and the Co-operative Party.
