Sacred Arts Festival Music at St Vincent's Stockbridge

God’s Craftsmen. J S Bach and G F Handel head the long list of outstanding composers of sacred music. In this recital, two of their compositions – Bach’s Cantata 150 Nach dir Herr, and Handel’s Chandos Anthem, Let God Arise – reveal their astonishing mastery of the medium, even at an early stage in their careers. On this occasion, the Howe Street Band performs these works in the beautiful surroundings of St Vincent’s Chapel under the direction of Les Shankland.
