Song Over Scotland

Scotland's dramatic history is illuminated by her music and traditional folksong. Robyn Stapleton, a BBC traditional singer of the year, and historian Professor David Purdie of the University of Edinburgh present the national story with words and songs reflecting the unique musical heritage of the people. The history and the music are accompanied by glorious images from the National Archives, making the performance a truly multi-media event.
