A Carrying Stream

Drawing on the sound archive of the University of Edinburgh’s School of Scottish Studies Archives, this exhibition explores creative reuse of the archive by a new generation of artists working in dialogue with the past. The deep listening experience features new commissions by Scotland-based artists Blair Coron, Fraser MacBeath and Carla Sayer, offering visitors a sensory journey around Scotland through the sounds of its people and places.
